Family Camping
As we all know, the vast majority of VibeTribe likes to stay up late! However, Gathering of the Vibes also hosts a designated Family Camping area — a place where families and chill folks can hang out together and set the tone. Please check back in the spring for more details!
Kids Safety Registration
Register your kids in the Kids Tent between 9AM and 8PM. Children will be given a bracelet to wear during the festival containing your contact info. In addition, we will keep a list of all contact info in case of emergency. We will also be holding kids registration at the VIP tent for VIP Kids on Thursday and Friday. We encourage you to discuss with your children what to do if they get lost, how to ask for help, how to describe you, and any other information. Kids Tent staff will have all the information needed to locate parents.
VIP Kids
Now your kids can be a VIP or VIP for a day with Kids’ Weekend or VIP Single-Day Tickets. Children 6-12 require a Kids’ VIP ticket. Kids 5 and under are always free in the VIP tent! All kids in the VIP tent must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is also a VIP. Treat yourself and your young ones to our expansive VIP Chill tent. Enjoy complimentary beverages and snacks while relaxing on comfy couches and chairs or enjoy our special VIP Viewing Areas. For more info and a complete list of VIP amenities, please visit our VIP Page.

Kids Corner
For the young ones, Kids Corner is a rockin good time! Led by Gabrielle Fugere and Andy “The Music Man” Morse, 2015 marks the 16th anniversary of Kids Corner at the Vibes. There’s never a shortage of activities, whether it’s painting on a community mural, listening to children’s entertainers, face painting, costume making, arts and crafts, dancing with puppets, or just relaxing on a comfy couch and reading stories. We know you’ll feel right at home!
Located within walking distance of the concert field, Kids Corner & Teen Scene are surrounded by beautiful trees and plenty of green space. Family Camping is situated nearby, as well as clean bathrooms. It’s the ideal compromise between a child’s need to have fun, and a parent’s desire to catch as much music as possible.
Kids’ Corner hours run from 9AM until sundown
Teen Scene
Teen Scene is a place where teens can learn to play a musical instrument through free, professional instruction as well as jamming with friends. Special guests show up and perform intimate sets for the teens. Teens can socialize, play games, get hair wraps, learn to juggle and much more.
Teen Scene hours run from 1PM through 11PM
Drum Ride a la Grateful Dead
Sunday at 12:15 PM in the Teen Scene
Bring your favorite djembe, conga, mdirangam, bodhran, or bongos to take a drum ride on high-octane tunes from the timeless repertoire of the Grateful Dead. If you want, you can boogie on a drum from the cargo that Bob “BB” Bloom is trucking to The Vibes.
The ride drivers for this hoot are Bob on Spice Rack and Andy “The Music Man” Morse on guitar.
Rob Beaulieu and Dave Pallas from the band “Wheel” will pump up the groove on guitar and bass.
For over a decade, Bob drummed as a member of Dr. Babatunde Olatunji’s legendary African music and dance group,
Drums of Passion at venues including Lincoln Center, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Washington Monument.
Mickey Hart acknowledges that when he was young, Olatunji was one of the drummers who inspired him.
Andy became a Dead Head in 1980. He’s been performing his brand of full-throttle music in the Kids Tent and at
The Green Vibes Stage every year since 2000.
Puppet Parade and World Peace Flag Ceremony
On Sunday morning the Kids Tent and Teen Scene take a field trip over to the Green Vibes Stage for a special musical performance for families by Andy “The Music Man.” Immediately following the performance families join in a large parade with puppets, costumes, stilt walkers, musicians and lots of merriment to the Main Stage where we partake in a World Peace Flag ceremony presented by the World Peace Prayer Society.
Andy The Music Man
Be sure to stop by the Green Vibes Stage (time to be announced in the Vibes event program) to catch a performance by Andy “The Music Man”. Andy will be playing Sunday morning before the parade to the World Peace Ceremony. He will also perform Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the Kids Tent with special guests.
