The Kind Buds

The Kind Buds, New England’s Premier Jam Duo, entertain their audiences with inspiring covers & incendiary originals, trading fiery-sweet licks on a roller coaster of tension & release. A truly acoustic duo, Bud & Budd perform raucous, intuitve, wide – open jams with stunning guitar interplay. Tight vocal harmonies compliment and complete their sound. No effects of any kind are used in live performances. This August celebrates The Kind Buds 9 years as a duo and their Vibes’s performance may be their 600 show performed together.

The Kind Buds play major East Coast music festivals such as The Gathering of the Vibes, Bears Picnic, Camp Creek, StrangeCreek; Solarfest; Sunshine Daydream Festival. The Kind Buds have just returned from taking the West Coast by storm after playing the historic Oregon Country Fair in Veneta, Oregon. Bud & Budd have opened for such greats as The New Riders of the Purple Sage; Jefferson Starship; Big Brother and the Holding Company; Tom Constanten, Tony Trischka with Steve Martin sitting in with him, and David LaFlemme of Its a Beautiful Day. The Kind Buds were also a part of the Unbroken Chain Symposium on the Legacy of the Grateful Dead held at U-Mass in Amherst in Nov of 07.

The Kind Buds currently have 4 CDs available for sale. Their latest CD, Live at the Bears Picnic, was named #8 out of the top 30 new releases as voted by relix/jambands (9/30/11).
