Oktopus is Jason Hann of the String Cheese Incident and EOTO, and Todd Stoops of Raq / Kung Fu. They have joined forces to fuse and loop a hybrid of electro-percussion and diverse keyboard sounds. More importantly, Oktopus seeks to guide festival goers (Vibe Tribers) / the Vibe Tribe) into a dream like trance that is lucid and communal. Crowds can expect multi-textured rhythms, spontaneous funk, and an uncommon elasticity to hold it all together. Hann and Stoops will orchestrate an experience that is sonically spiritual and relentlessly euphoric.
